Tarek Husevold,   Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot.

Tarek started flying Helicopters in October of 2008. He is an Instrument Rated CFI, and currently finalizing Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII). After being rescued by a Navy Helicopter in the Mt. Baker wilderness, he was inspired to become a pilot, with the ultimate goal of saving lives. Tarek has experience flying in the demanding conditions and mountainous terrain of Northwest Washington. He began training with Glacier Aviation (WA) with a majority of his flight time in Robinson R22’s, and R44’s, also accomplishing an A-star Turbine Transition. He is an organized and dedicated pilot who specializes in Photo/Filming flights, and is available for scenic tours, and flight instruction.  Living in Bellingham, Tarek spends his free time as a Mountain Education Instructor at Mt Baker Ski Area and as a volunteer at Sardis Raptor Rehabilitation Center. Some big accomplishments include spearheading a Helicopter Operation from the ground up in Bellingham WA, being Pilot in Command for multiple roundtrip flights from Bellingham to Los Angeles CA in Robinson Helicopters, Bellingham to Montrose CO, Bellingham to Valdez AK, and Los Angeles to Valdez in Eurocopter AS350’s.
